We have centers throughout the country and often you can fly to a regional center for advanced technology and experience for less than your local surgeon charges. Our patients wonder how we can do this. Our model is quite simple. If our centers have open appointment times, we can never recapture this revenue. It is very much like a plan leaving with empty seats. We offer our empty spots at a dramatic discount and have the ability to buy empty spots from centers at a discount. YOU'RE A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR LASIK SURGERY IF:
Your vision has not changed in the past year, i.e. it's stable.
You're over 18 years old.
Your eyes are relatively healthy, meaning you don't have an eye disease.
THINGS THAT MAKE LASIK MORE DIFFICULT:
You have a tendency toward dry eyes.
You have thin corneas.
You have large pupils.
You are prone to inflammation of the eyelids with crusting of the eyelashes.
You've had previous refractive surgery such as RK, PRK and LASIK.
